Design # 5 (Week 5 of 2011)
Here is my very first digital painting. It started with a sketch on the paper, transitioned into an Adobe Illustrator file and then moved onto Adobe Photoshop.
I did not want it to be an exact replica of the sketch, that is why I tweaked the design and made it more of a Modern Art.

This Design is one of my favorites.
It reflects the mood I was in when I created this. It is very bright and vivacious. Spring is on the way and this is a small effort to make your desktop colorful and lively.
This was designed in Adobe Photoshop. I used different sets of brushes, gradients and blending options.
Resolution: 1600×1200
Random flow of lines and Abstract art is my passion.

As a New Year’s Resolution, I have decided to take up WordPress’ Postaweek2011 challenge. I will be posting a new design once a week for all of 2011. It can be a Desktop wallpaper, Mobile wallpaper, Photo Retouching trick or anything fun and random.
I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now.
I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

During my last trip to India, I got a chance to visit this secret hidden beach in Goa. It was gorgeous.
This design was influenced by my current mood. Its spring and I see a lot of beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere and that makes me happy. After winters i love the warmth of sun .. and hence the wallpaper
I was always intrigued by vector art, and i am still learning .. once i get the feel of it i am sure i am gonna be an expert in that.. till than i am happily experimenting !
Now I always loved painting in Silhouettes . Whether pencil sketches or digital painting. I was always intrigued by how to create Silhouettes until i got to know how easy it is. All you need to know is how to toggle background and foreground and to throw in colors.
Expect more in this category. As simple as any anything!!!
